Mom bought a 2003 2-door victory red Chevy Cavalier today and put it in my name. So I guess you could say it's my first car.

I'll be having my prostate removed this coming Monday. I have no idea how this will change my life, but I hope it's better than having cancer slowly kill me.

Summer Mondays

In the summer I love to watch PBS Monday evenings. Rick Steve's Europe; Antiques Roadshow; History Detectives and Make 'Em Laugh.

Mom at Home

Mom has been home from the nursing home for just over a week and it's a challenge for both of us. We're both physically and emotionally drained.
With my rehearsals starting Monday I won't be around to help her much, either. And I know my sister and brother can't be relied upon.
Prayers for the Feagans would be in order. Thank you.

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a long time. Mom broke her hip Feb.17th, 2009 and I've been a bit distracted. Your prayers for her gaining strength are greatly appreciated.

Unemployment compensation

Since receiving my second unemployment extension, I've learned I'm no saver.
Extended my membership to the Disney Collectors Society, bought Legos, went out to eat...a lot. Paid for the daily newspaper and visited Amazon.com.
Yikes! Where did the money go?
